It’s time to buckle up for another gaming mouse release, but this one is far from ordinary. Today, ROCCAT has announced that it’s begun shipping its Tyon gaming mouse.
From the top, the Tyon has the X-Celerator thumb paddle, which is a two-way analog stick that allows for control over various functions such as throttle, sprinting, or rotating a tank turret in a flowing ballet of destruction. There’s also a two-click Dorsal Fin (yes, you read that correctly) behind the scroll wheel for even more control.
Armed with an 8200 DPI Pro Aim (R3) laser sensor, 576KB of onboard memory, 16 programmable buttons, and 16.8 million multicolour illumination, as well as ROCCAT’s own EASY SHIFT[+] technology, we have the Tyon, which is as eye-catching as it is innovative.
Available with either a black or white top cover, Tyon is expected to retail for $99.99 US.
