Six Titles Have Just Been Inducted To The Video Game Hall Of Fame

At The Strong Museum in New York City earlier this week, six video games were inducted into the World Video Games Hall of Fame – and not a single one of them is going to come as a surprise. First, here’s the fifteen that were nominated:

The six that were awarded the elite title are:

• Doom
• Pac-Man
• Pong
• Super Mario Bros.
• Tetris
• World of Warcraft

I can agree with all of those chosen, but I think that with World of Warcraft there, so too should Minecraft be. Both games became the source of myriad of clones, and each had their own massive playerbase. In a way, I almost feel like Minecraft deserves the place more than WoW, but both have been very important to our video game history.
