Sony Kicks Off its ‘Welcome Back’ Program

It has sure taken a while to get off the ground, but Sony has finally launched its ‘Welcome Back’ program, which awards both PS3 and PSP owners a choice of two free games; five to choose from on the PS3 side and four on the PSP side. For owners of both, a total of four games can be claimed; two for each platform. Once again, those choices are:

North and Latin America – PS3
• Dead Nation
• inFAMOUS
• LittleBigPlanet
• Super Stardust HD
• Wipeout HD + Fury

Europe – PS3
• Dead Nation (Replaced with Super Stardust HD in Germany)
• inFAMOUS (Replaced with Hustle Kings in Germany)
• LittleBigPlanet
• Wipeout HD + Fury
• Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty

North and Latin America; Europe – PSP
• LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
• ModNation Racers
• Pursuit Force
• Killzone Liberation

To claim your games, you simply need to load up a PS3 or PSP and go to the PlayStation Store, then hit up the ‘Welcome Back’ section. If you own a PSP that’s associated with your PS3, then you can claim all of the games from within your PS3 to save time and effort (downloading to the PSP in my experience has been a seriously sketchy and slow affair).
