Valve just released an update for its Steam desktop client. This update addresses bugs and stability improvements across all platforms, and includes support for Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Gamers in Linux now can select a voice input device when using “Big Picture” mode.
Some of the cross platform changes include support for regional EULAs (thank God for that), improvements in handling the way that unrecognized Web links appear in chat, automatic removal of empty sub folders after game installs and updates, and more accurate progress reporting of items that are in your download queue.
You can read all of the information about the latest update here, on the official announcement page from Valve.
