Valve has kicked off a Steam ‘Autumn Sale’ that runs straight through until the end of the weekend. As per the norm, there will be a collection of unique games offered each day with varying levels of savings, though if today’s sales are anything to go by, you can expect to see at least 50 – 75% off of these select titles. In addition to these featured deals, there are even more to be had via publisher and genre collections, though for the most part the savings per game won’t match the featured front-page ones.
Kicking things off, Duke Nukem Forever is being pawned off for a mere $6.79, while Test Drive Unlimited 2 can be had for $4.99. These might not be considered classics of their respective genres, but both are quite good (I’ve put near 200 hours into TDU2 if that’s a measure of anything).
For those who still haven’t jumped onto the Portal 2 bandwagon, it’s being offered for $10.19, and for those looking to get some cool games for really cheap, four Oddworld titles can be had together for $3.74, while a game we recently reviewed, Orcs Must Die!, can also be had for $3.74.
Other select games include Mass Effect 1 and 2 for $4.99 each, Call of Duty: Black Ops for $29.99 (that’s about as good as an Activision game will get), Renegade Ops for $7.49 and Risen for $14.99.
If none of these games strike your fancy, be sure to check Steam out each afternoon until Sunday as sixteen new great game deals will be posted.
