We live in a content-rich world, and no matter what you’re in the mood for, there’s always something to read, watch or play. Well, if only it was that simple. Want to game? Register it first, hope that it connects successfully to some server, pray that Games for Windows Live starts up, and then play. Want to watch a movie? Things are not much different. One thing’s clear – while there’s a lot of content to partake in, there’s even more hassle involved just to access it.
Oh – and don’t dare live outside of the US, because if you do, the complication in getting a hold of content legally just doubled – if it can even be accessed at all. For more on that, read the comic below and then read this remixed version.
Web comic The Oatmeal takes these issues head-on, where a dude wants nothing more than to get his hands on the Game of Thrones TV series. In his travels, it’s not available on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and so forth. If you’ve ever looked for new content, you pretty much know how this all goes. This comic is well worth checking out though, because when things are this complicated, a good laugh is always welcomed.
