First revealed at 2014’s CES, Tt eSPORTS’ VENTUS gaming mouse series stands out of the crowd for one good reason: it’s full of holes. On purpose of course; for the sake of ventilation. But some who were seeking out a well-ventilated mouse might have had to look beyond the original VENTUS due to its ambidextrous design – while it serves an important purpose, it doesn’t really “fix” anything. It just gives lefties a mouse option that’s little better than “decent” (I think most would agree that nothing beats a proper left- or right-handed mouse.)
Well, there’s good news for right-handed people with the VENTUS X: left-handed people have gotten the shaft!
The VENTUS X features a different surface design than the original, and in my opinion it looks a lot better; it enhances the general aesthetic. The numerous vents remain as well, although because this is a right-handed model, its overall design is quite different.
Key features of the VENTUS X include full customization (all of the button functions can be changed through software), lighting in the belly, a matte coating, rubber grip on the thumb pad, an adjustable weight system, on-board memory, and overhauled configuration software.
The VENTUS X should hit e-tail within the next two weeks, and will retail for $49.99.
