A mere two months since Valve’s announcing of Steam Greenlight comes the first ten titles that, thanks to fans, have “reached a critical mass” and will soon release on the platform. Interestingly, one such game is Black Mesa, the fan-made recreation of the original Half-Life that we talked about last week and which releases tomorrow. All ten titles are as follows:
- Black Mesa
- Cry of Fear
- Dream
- Heroes & Generals
- Kenshi
- McPixel
- No More Room in Hell
- Project Zomboid
- Routine
- Towns
It’s important to note that while these games have met their required criteria and will release on Steam, their roll-out will be independent and spread out over the next couple of months – or as long as it takes to finalize things. And hot on the heals of this announcement, Valve has said that it expects to follow-up with even more greenlit titles soon.
