WB Montréal Drops Batman: Arkham Origins Launch Trailer

Ahead of Friday’s much-hyped launch of Batman: Arkham Origins, WB has posted a launch trailer dubbed “Personal Mission”. In it, we can see that this is the most ambitious of the three Arkham games, and it could also become the grittiest.

A prequel, Akrham Origins takes place years before the events of the previous two titles. You take on the role of an experience-lacking Batman, and play through the events that lead him to become the ultimate crime-fighter.

I was able to get a good idea of what Origins offers last week in Montreal, where a WB representative played through a particular level for about 15 minutes. Afterwards, I wanted nothing more than to own the game right there, right then. And this, despite not having touched the previous Arkham games (something that’s bound to change after seeing this).
