Following up to the Android version of AIDA64 that was released back in March, FinalWire has just announced that its mobile portfolio is “complete” with the release of native iOS and Windows Phone apps. The company notes that each of these versions utilize the respective platform’s native design language so that they feel right at home.
These releases help celebrate a special occasion for FinalWire: AIDA64’s 20th anniversary. Says lead developer Tamás Miklós, “It was exactly 20 years ago this month that we started the development of AIDA64, and we have come a long way since the DOS-only first edition. Just like in the past two decades, we will continue to do our best to follow hardware technology innovations and to provide the most accurate hardware and software information to our users.”
If you happen to give the app a download on either one of the three mobile platforms, I’d encourage you to help FinalWire out by submitting a report. This isn’t so important on the Apple side of things, given there are very few variations, but on the Windows Phone and Android side, I’d be willing to bet that there are still many gaps in the company’s database.
Nonetheless, a major congratulations to FinalWire for celebrating AIDA64’s 20th year!
