Hot on the heels of the release of Ubisoft’s action fighter For Honor and Rebellion’s tactical shooter Sniper Elite 4 comes some brand-new driver releases from both AMD and NVIDIA.
AMD’s ReLive Edition 17.2.1 is said to improve For Honor performance by up to 4%, and Sniper Elite 4 performance by 5% – both based on AMD testing conducted with the Radeon RX 480. Better still: profiles have been added to both titles for multi-GPU use.
In addition to these enhancements, AMD’s latest driver squashes a number of bugs relating to For Honor, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, DayZ, and Civilization VI, as well as general bugs with the driver.
On the other side of the GPU pond, NVIDIA’s GeForce 378.66 driver adds official support for both For Honor and Sniper Elite 4, as well as Halo Wars 2, which comes out next week. Perhaps even more notable about this driver is the fact that it also introduces Ansel support to both For Honor and Paragon, giving users amazing control over their screenshots. If you’re not familiar with Ansel, you can check out some preview shots from NVIDIA here and peruse our in-depth look here.
