Earlier, we posted about the trio of patches that were released for Crysis 2, which introduces alongside bug fixes an ‘Ultra’ mode and DirectX 11 support. We were unable to provide a video to actually show you what has been updated, however. Well, since then, EA has sent along an official comparison video that will leave no doubts in your mind that if you play this game, you want DirectX 11. Some of the differences are rather stark.
I recommend you click on the YouTube logo in the video to go watch it in its full 720p resolution, but if you’re content with an embedded version, who am I to deprive you of it?
As always, if you give the patch an install and have thoughts on it, be sure to talk about them in our forums! After watching this video, I have a huge urge to go load it up, but work is holding me back!
