Giveaway: PAX-Exclusive DDO & LOTRO Special Items; G&H Beta Invites

It’s time once again to give away some swag! Our good friend K. Samwell, former TG editor and current community manager for Kings Isle Entertainment’s Wizard 101 MMO, hit up PAX last month and sent us along some codes for special items in Dungeons & Dragons Online and Lord of the Rings Online, and also codes to join in on the closed beta for Gods & Heroes. Getting one of these codes is simple; as long as you’re either a current member of our forum community, or are a member on Twitter.

We have 20 codes for DDO, which unlock a special item – though I’m unsure what that item is. It is however PAX-exclusive, so unless you attended the show, you don’t have it. For LOTRO, we have 10 codes, and the special item is a mount, and again, it’s exclusive. Finally, G&H is currently in closed beta state, and while the gates are opened on occasion for access to the game, it’s in closed beta most of the time. We have 10 codes that will get you constant access, whether or not the game is open to the public.

We’re limiting this giveaway to one code per person, so choose wisely. To get one, you can:

A) Post in this forum thread with your choice. In order to receive a code this way, you must have been a forum member for at least a week, and have contributed to our community in some real way (eg: have done more than just post in our contest threads).

Or

B) Use Twitter: Re-tweet our tweet (we’d love to give all the codes away), and then direct message us there with your choice of code. Please allow some time to pass before I send it along, however, as each code is 25 characters long and, well, I can’t send too many out at all the same time to save me from going insane.

As these codes expire at the end of Saturday, the deadline to request one is 5PM EST on that day (April 30th).
