GOG has just kicked off its annual DRM-free Summer Sale with most of its catalog affected. As before, there will be new game deals launched every 12 hours, and to save even more money, there are bundles to take advantage of.
What makes this particular sale a bit different is that you’ll be rewarded for spending more. If you spend a mere $1, you’ll be granted a free copy of Sim City 2000: Special Edition. At $20, you’ll unlock S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, while at $50, you’ll get the sci-fi strategy game Xenonauts.
In case you missed out on picking up The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at launch, GOG is offering it to you now for 10% off, putting it at $42.29. As I pore over the front page, it looks like most games are at least 75% off, so if you’re in the spending mood, it doesn’t seem like you’re going to have much trouble here.
As we mentioned in our post about Steam’s new refund policy yesterday, Valve’s annual summer sale could come next week.
