It might feel like we just had a Humble Bundle, and well, we did. But another has arrived and it’s a little more unique than those we’ve seen in the past. There’s just one game featured here, Frozen Synapse, dubbed the “ultimate tactical” game on both the PC (Windows and now Linux) and Mac.
The idea behind this bundle might be more about charity than the actual game, although since the game usually retails for $24.99 at Steam, being able to get it for a bargain price here is sure to tempt many. But supporting such charities as EFF and Child’s Play is never a bad thing, either.
Like the previous bundle, this one also rewards those who pay more than the average price. Earlier this year, the Humble Bundle folks offered a special based around Frozenbyte’s games, and that is the collection you will receive. Those games include Trine (a superb game), Shadowgrounds, Shadowgrounds: Survivor, Splot and Jack Claw. The latter two are both in development, though Splot can be played at it current state. When the final releases are made, both will be provided to you through your Humble Bundle purchase URL.
If this Humble Bundle proves as successful as the last, we might not see only Frozen Synapse up for grabs, but see other games added to the pile as time goes on. Of course, nothing says that each Humble Bundle has to go like the last, but it’s become clear that the folks behind this love to entice gamers as much as possible.
