There are few manufacturers in the PC industry more respected than Lian Li. What it lacks in quantity is more than made up for in quality. Known for its unique designs and use of aluminum in manufacturing, Lian Li has been covered by us a handful of times.
Announced this week, the PC-M25 is Lian Li’s latest mATX mini tower that’s capable of accommodating up to seven 3.5” drives. One feature of the PC-M25 that’s exciting is the ability to hot-swap up to five 3.5” drives with rubber suspension, making the process completely tool less. Another benefit of building with the PC-M25 is that it can accommodate GPUs up to 410mm in length. If you’re worried about powering that video card, know that you’re covered: the PC-M25 can fit power supplies as long as 230mm.
With most mATX cases, airflow can be a concern. For this, the PC-M25 has you covered. Using a high-airflow, low-RPM 140mm fan up front, it intakes fresh air through a pair of vents on both side panels, across the hard drives, and exhausts out of a 120mm fan at the top of the back side. To aid in keeping the internals clean, a removable dust filter is positioned on the bottom of the case, under the removable hard drive tray.
From top to bottom, including the power button, the PC-M25 is made entirely out of aluminum. This gives the chassis a rigidness not found in many other offerings by other manufactures. The materials used brings the total weight of the chassis to just over eight pounds.
Available towards the middle of February, the PC-M25 will sell for an MSRP of $169.
