Good news, Oculus fans: NVIDIA’s VR Funhouse has just received an update to become compatible with the Rift’s Touch controllers. To celebrate, the company is introducing two brand-new games: Wall Walker Toss, and HotShot Basketball.
NVIDIA touts VR Funhouse as the world’s most advanced virtual reality game, and it backs that up with heavy use of physics, all running through the company’s various SDKs, including VRWorks and PhysX. Some specific technologies include HairWorks, Flow, FleX, and Destruction.
As we posted about last month, NVIDIA unveiled modding tools since the release of VR Funhouse to let creative people spice the game up to their liking, and then share the result with the world. Who knew the game would become such an open platform?
As always, VR Funhouse is available over at Steam for the great price of $0. Unfortunately, the game’s audience is still limited given it’s exclusive to high-end VR headsets, but the game is one reason of many why those are worth investing in if you’re at all drawn towards virtual reality.
