When NVIDIA rolled-out a new update to GeForce Experience a couple of weeks ago, great fuss was made over the fact that in order to get future Game Ready driver updates, an email address would be required. Ultimately, no account needs to be signed-up for; opting in with an email just lets NVIDIA send you marketing correspondence. Still, it’s a mechanism I wouldn’t consider ideal.
Nonetheless, those who do opt-in to give NVIDIA their email address are in for a possible treat (not the sugar kind – thankfully), as NVIDIA is ramping up a giveaway that will see $100,000 worth of awesome prizes given out. All you have to do is opt in to receive Game Ready updates, and then it becomes a waiting game.
Included with these prizes will be copies of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Call of Duty: Black Ops III, as well as GeForce GTX 980 Ti, 960, and 950 graphics cards. As if that wasn’t enough, NVIDIA’s piling on SHIELD Android TVs as well. The company hints that a third game will also be given away, but its name can’t be revealed quite yet (perhaps Fallout 4?)
On the topic of Game Ready drivers, NVIDIA gives us word that all of the major titles will be covered this holiday season, with drivers coming out either on the day of release or a day before. The official list of targeted titles is:
- Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
- Call of Duty: Black Ops III
- Civilization Online
- Fallout 4
- Just Cause 3
- Monster Hunter Online
- Overwatch
- RollerCoaster Tycoon World
- StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void
- Star Wars: Battlefront
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
- War Thunder
In related news, NVIDIA has just released the Game Ready driver for Black Ops III, which you can grab right here or inside of GeForce Experience.
