We talked just earlier this week about the sale events that Valve has become well-known for with its Steam platform, so what better time to see another one kick off? You have Halloween to thank this time around, with a huge assortment of “spooky” games to choose from – including the just-launched Railworks 3: Train Simulator 2012 – Trains vs Zombies DLC. Could there be a better combination?
The overall game list is huge, so I’ll just point out some that caught my eye in terms of either it being a good game or an outstanding sale. Thanks to its Zombie DLC, Borderlands has once again been knocked down to $4.99 for the game itself, or $7.49 for the game and its four expansion packs (that version is a no-brainer if you do not own the game).
Dead Space 1 & 2 can be had together for $16.99 (-66%), Dead Island for $37.49 (-25%), BioShock 1 and 2 for $4.99 each (-75%), Left 4 Dead 2 for $6.79 (-66%), Painkiller complete pack for $4.99 (-75%), Killing Floor bundle for $10.17 (-66%), F.E.A.R. 3 for $29.99 (-40%) and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl + Call of Pripyat together for $8.74 (-75%).
*catches breath*
And that’s just about 20% of the entire list! If you want to get your game on this Halloween for cheap, this sale is definitely worth checking out.
