X48 is new, but there are many boards already begging for your dollars. We are taking a look at the most robust of them all, the P5E3 Premium, which includes built-in WiFi, a great board design and fantastic overclocking abilities. It would almost be a perfect board if it weren't for the $375 price tag.
There are few P31-based motherboards on the market, but as we find out, they are well-deserving of some attention. The board we are taking a look at today hovers around $100, but despite it's value status, it's a great offering.
If you're on the lookout for a DDR3 motherboard, the P5E3 Deluxe proves to be a superb choice. It's one of the most feature-packed offerings on the market, with it's passive cooling, on-board WiFi, high energy efficiency and even a remote control - all while being a solid overclocker as well.
We took a look at the Blitz Formula and Extreme boards from ASUS just over two months ago, and now we have the X38 version of those boards on the bench today. In addition to featuring a Northbridge waterblock, it also has "extreme" overclocking ability and a great bundle.
Intel's X38 is here and we have Gigabyte's top offering in-house. Key features include PCI-E 2.0, dual PCI-E 16x slots, 1333/1600FSB support along with a slew of unique features Gigabyte has become well-known for.
