Razer hopes to cash in on the mobile gaming market but in a different way, and is set to break the mould with a truly innovative product that it unveiled early for this year’s CES festivities.

At a press event held earlier this week, Corsair announced the Hydro Series H60 liquid CPU cooler, and though it had released the H50 and H70 prior, this was the most interesting. Why? It had been developed in conjunction with CoolIT Systems, a company based in Canada. We’ve reviewed many of CoolIT’s products in the past, and it’s…

If there’s a debate I love to get involved in, it’s the PC vs. Console FPS gamers one. As a devout PC gamer, I’ve come to prefer a mouse + keyboard configuration much more than the gamepad solution that console gamers have become accustomed. I’ve tried to get used to a gamepad, but I can’t. Because of it, I never beat most FPS…

Utilizing a reliable DNS (domain name server) is important, because it can result in either great speeds on the Internet, or speeds that bring us back to the modem age. For this reason, a lot of people decide to opt out of the DNS their ISP offers, and instead adopt the one that Google provides for free, or OpenDNS (which I used to use…

On Tuesday, we reported that ASUS would be releasing three “Eee Pad” products that utilize NVIDIA’s Tegraprocessor, and overall, that’s quite a huge win. At a press event held on Wednesday by NVIDIA itself, the company one-upped that win by announcing support from LG, resulting in a “super phone”.

Maths, easy for some, hard for others. For CPUs, it’s their bread and butter, what they are meant to do and how they earn their living… if they were alive of course. But sometimes, you don’t need to calculate the square root of 2,376,147 to within 3 million decimal places. Sometimes you don’t even need the number to be accurate…

A couple of CESes ago, Monster released audio products with Dr. Dre’s name attached to them, and at that time, I began to wonder if this is a trend we’d begin to see. Since then, Skull Candy has been heavily sponsoring one of my favorite hip-hop artists, Del, and at this CES, Signeo released a pair of “SOUL” headphones with…

As evidenced throughout 2010, “3D” is a rather big thing. Countless Hollywood productions featured 3D versions, and the same can be said for PC and console games. In talking to many people about it over the past year, many of them seem to enjoy the 3D aspect, and would easily prefer 3D over non-3D. With that, it’d be easy to accept that…

Assassin’s Creed II, released last spring, was greeted to rave reviews. It improved upon the original in important ways, delivered fun and exhilarating gameplay, and had graphics and sound to back all of it up. Despite all this, I posted not long after the game’s launch encouraging people to not purchase it. The reason? DRM, of course.

Bugs and glitches in video games are nothing new, but lately it seems as if more and more games are being released without the proper amount of quality assurance.
